The Career & Research Hub (searchon.me) lists internships, scholarships, jobs, competitions and research opportunities for students and graduates. You can use every page without an account.

What we collect

  • Newsletter: if you subscribe, your email, optional name and chosen interests, used only to send the newsletter. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
  • Employer listings: if you submit a listing, your contact details, used only to review and publish it.
  • Server logs: like any website, our server records requests (IP address, browser, pages visited) to keep the site secure and working.

We do not sell personal data.

Your country

To show you opportunities in your own country first, the site works out which country you are browsing from by looking up your IP address in a database kept on our own server. Your address is not sent to any other service and is not stored with your country. You can choose a different country, or no preference, with the picker above the listings; that choice is kept in a cookie on your device. The country database is IP Geolocation by DB-IP, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence.

Cookies

The site uses a session cookie so forms work securely. Our advertising and analytics partners may also set cookies, as described below.

Advertising

We show ads to keep the hub free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
